Installation took about 30 minutes, but mostly because I was watching YouTube installation process and was taking it really easy. If I had to do it again, I'd do it in 10.

Thank you, no, I haven't tried it - first, I don't think it's safe, and secondly, it might be pretty tricky loading bikes with the tailgate closed.
And the cross-traffic alert does not work with the tailgate lowered.
It takes a few minutes, but not that bad.
Putting the rack into the bed and securing with bungee cords - 2 min.
Loading the bikes in - 1 min for 2 bikes.
Securing them with a ratchet tie-down - 1 to 2 min.
