I’d like to see a thread where pre 2025 hybrid owners who have replaced their old battery with an agm give updates as what problems they may of had or positive updates.

Your dealer lied to you. No way they could have said that with a straight face. All dealers are perfectly aware of the deep sleep issue and also know the battery isn't okay.
Mine does the same thing. They tell me I don't drive it enough and to put a battery tendor on it to keep it fully charged. Funny, I never had to do that with my other cars. I am getting tired of constantly charging the battery. Ridiculous!

My '24 XLT has joined the "failing to start" club. Drove it Friday, got in it yesterday and the jump-pack could not detect the battery, as the voltage was too low. It's been cold here in SE Michigan but I've never had a year-old car battery fail so hard from sitting two days. This is the second time in a year that I've come out to a dead truck (hence the jump-pack).
Ordered an AC Delco AGM battery from RockAuto, as there's point in arguing with the dealer (they say the OEM battery is fine). Peace of mind for <$200.
I had a gel battery on my Honda Goldwing trike and it powered all the added accessories and lights and a trailer, so I expect good things from this one, too.

I've been thinking of buying the AC Delco AGM also. Please keep us up to date on how it works out for you.
I've gotten "Deep Sleep" notifications but it has always started. I have charged up the battery and used the repair (desuflation) function a couple of times. Seems to have helped.

After two flooded batteries completely failing and going completely dead within 8 weeks of me owning my truck, I purchased on my own an AGM battery back in May of last year. The only thing that occassionally happens is the "sleep" mode still happens. It seems to happen sporactically. But no DEAD battery since May of 2024.

Now when I get a "sleep" message, the battery literally charges back up within 2 miles of driving. The flooded batteries never charged back up unless I did a hard full charge and then they completely died the next day.

I truly believe that with the software tweak that Ford is working on and an AGM battery, we may finally be able to put this issue to rest.

Let us know how that works out. I still think they need to program the alternator to more fully recharge the battery to totally solve the problem.

I hope you are right.

No issues since getting the AC Delco: no warnings (and more importantly, it starts up every time). I hate that I had to replace a year old battery, but the dealer wouldn't do it.

So 10 days in is nice to know you have a good battery.
1 yr out will be more telling though.

I'd suggest that final straw was the actual infrequent battery drain issue though - not the normal slow battery death.
You said that was 2nd time in a year you had it - so indeed infrequent.
Why I think 1 yr will be the valid report, since you may get the infrequent drain again.

ETA - and ya peace of mind, besides time is money and running into dealer could be crap-shoot as to how much time it'll take, to get the same response.

I've decided to turn off the telemetrics, even with the new AGM battery. I'm looking to install a voltmeter onboard to see what's drawing on the battery when parked, too. I know the keyfob will pull on it, but I want to see just how much.

Sitting for months without a battery maintainer on it may have shortened the life of the flooded lead-acid battery. I would start using a maintainer (battery tender) on it if you want to extend the life of it.

Or just go buy an AGM battery, which should give you more trouble-free service. This AC Delco is an AGM drop-in perfect fit replacement. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8878472

Charge the AGM battery fully, reset the BMS, double lock the truck and let it sit for a min of 8 hours so the BMS can learn what kind of battery is in the truck.
This is the way.

I had two dead batteries and one dead battery that even after charge would not engaged the ICE.

Put in an AGM with all the install steps you listed. No issues (fingers crossed ever since). About $200 with that battery from Rock Auto and local shop installing. It’s sat after short drives for a few days with not a sign of issue.

FYI - I also disabled connectivity. I never used the remote features and it gives me additional piece of mind.

I also still throw it on a battery tender if I know for sure I not driving for more than 3 days. I don’t stress about that though. Again, more for peace of mind and takes me less than 3 minutes if I know I’m out of town or just not going anywhere with the truck.

Hi there! Will you please send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? We’d like to investigate this concern on our end. Thanks!
I am having this very same issue with my 2024 Maverick Hybrid Lariat and my local dealer. I have contacted the regional manager and their staff said they would contact the dealer. I have had no response to this issue. I am going in for my 4th service appointment again tomorrow but don't expect any difference in the response.

Good luck with that. Ford is evidently simply ignoring all of us owners and now doesn't even seem to acknowledge that the problem exists. It's now been one full year since they promised a permanent fix by the end off the first quarter of 2025, a date they then changed to the end of the second quarter. That went by the side of the road, and since then have gone completely silent. By the way, putting in an AGM (or dealership did on our 2023 Lariat hybrid, as a customer courtesy, since they are just as frustrated with Ford) and it makes absolutely no difference at all. All software updates to modules done by service department, as per Ford. This is after two days of not driving - down to a 40% state of charge:

Wow - living high on juice there at 12.25 V!
Even if that is inflated due to just driving or such - pretty good, in comparison.

I started a 4.5 hr drive with Ford's SOC scale 40% and 11.8 V.
Ended at 59% SOC, but couldn't stick around for a valid V reading.
BMS seemed to hold at 2A charging level for a lot longer than normal 10-15 min, maybe a whole 30 min, unheard of!
But then normal float charge less than 1A for probably 4 hrs.

Sadly my Forscan Lite took the 3 day break to decide to do a license check, and with nothing but wifi on this old phone, wasn't going to happen, no time to fool around with creating a hotspot and such with barely any cell signal - had to get moving as already hours late.
But after same 4.5 hr drive back, this morning after overnight sleep - Ford's SOC 66% & 12.2 V!
Wow. (only an avg 21 mA usage draw during sleep)
Did a battery test too with the below results, new battery in July, with 6 full recharges on trip to/from NY over 3 days (RAV4's 5yr old battery has better resistance still) :
