Ford sends out (blanket spam) email -- "An Important Update About Your Order"

The dealer didn’t put your email on the order, only logical explanation. You ordered in November so you could still be in for a long wait.

Enjoy the sticker shock . I think Nissan Frontiers are still fair priced but maybe not. Gas is in the rise so sales for monster trucks should be going down.

Talked to the dealer this morning and he took my email off the order and then put it back on saved it and BAM.......I get an email from Ford he thinks it was a glitch of some sort.

I received the email as well. I had already been notified a few months ago that my order did not go through successfully due to dealership errors and I will not receive a truck.

I have the same order Hybrid XLT with luxury package, copilot 360. Alton Blue. Order placed on 09/08 but confirming production yet.....

I received two of these emails, probably because I received two confirmation emails back when I ordered.

I like they titled it "An important update about your order" , when the body of the email basically says "there is no update"

Yep. Got one too...pissed me off. It's like, "Hey sucker, it's your fault it's taking us so long to get to your truck."

I got this email 3hrs after talking with my dealer about my order. I guess it wasn't related . . . Now I don't feel special anymore lol

I asked my dealer why the email starts off with "important update", but has not update in the body of the email. He said that from his understanding that the email was sent accidentally by Ford..

Yes! In over 5 months that was the first communication I received from Ford. The Dealer (Willowbrook Ford in the Peoples Republic of Illinois) has been helpful and sympathetic.
I can understand the wait but keep in touch! I really want my VIN to secure good financing.
