I received an Important update to my order via email on Friday March 18th, 2022 at 9:31PM. Well, apparently Ford has run into some delays. Who knew????? So, I guess the "important update" is that they still have my order and my email address. That is definitely a step in the right direction. And I thought they were just helping me celebrate the NINE-MONTH Anniversary of my June 19, 2021 Order. 🎉

I got the email and I am confused...what is the "Important Update"?
I have read it 20 times and I don't see any update.
I'm hoping within the week some will be receiving another update, The e-mail should be clearer.

I work for a Ford dealership and ordered my hybrid lariat the first day they opened orders (6/27/21). My truck was delayed but went into production in Mid December. Delivery was expected for 2/2. On 1/28 it was pushed back to *MAY*. Three days before it was scheduled to arrive they pushed it back 3 solid months. I was mad. Mid February I get an email that says it's been moved up to the end of March. It shipped and made its way to Jacksonville (I'm in central Florida) It was THREE HOURS FROM ME and I received another email saying they required more time and the estimated arrival was being pushed back to MAY again. I have never been so angry and felt so bad for being so irritated (and sorry to say-mean) with a customer service person in my life. A week later it's signed for by the transport company which usually means it's one (two at most) days away... It took 4. The only time in my life I have ever been so anxious, irritated, excited, mad and feeling out of control was when I was in the last day or two of my pregnancies. And the same relief, excitement and sense of 'thank god that's over' as then too 🤣 He's here, he's mine and I love him so far!!! He took 9 months to make it here, but it was worth the wait 💙

Since you work for a Ford dealership were you able to get more inside information about your Mav then a regular customer? it seems like the dealerships are as much in the dark as the rest of us. Obviously supply chain and allocation system is completely out of wack!
My cousin was F&I manager at local Ford dealer. I would have asked him to find out what he could but he is no longer with us :-(
Congrats on the Mav, looks great (I ordered same color :)

9 months gestation, then a new arrival. Congratulations all the way around.
I too have been expecting for a while, but have a very unclear estimated date of confinment from Ford Motors.

So I scrolled through as much as I could but hard to view every post in 37 pages.. does anybody have any idea what this means?? When I saw the subject I assumed the “change” was that I was getting pushed back to 2023 as that’s something my dealer suggested could happen when I last contacted him (order placed last September). But it literally gives no information on what the “change” or “update” is. Is there a chance that those who got these emails are still going to get the (2022) trucks they ordered? Just seems so odd to me after all this time to finally send this out apologizing and basically telling us to be patient if they’re just going to turn around and tell me I need to order a 2023 after all. Anyone been able to find any info on what the hell it means to be in the group that got this email?

At least it confirms you are in line. A very long line, but not fallen through the cracks.

That's what I took from it...I'm still in line. I ordered the Lariat Luxury package, which includes the SIBL, which I don't really care about, but I want the rest of what is included. I only added CoPilot because it was required with the luxury package.

I received the email. Came to my inbox, not spam or commercial folders. Cactus Gray Hybrid Lariat ordered Nov 2021. I'm not expecting mine until the fall of 2022. In the meantime I have a sweet little 1999 Ranger with 215k to play with; received from my daughter who moved overseas.

I received same email Friday night for my XLT Hybrid. I thought was because I had removed the Spray bed liner and tie downs. Ordered September

Should we be concerned if we didn't receive the email?
