Twice now I've tried to order the tailgate assist. The first time, FedEx delivered me an envelope torn open at the top with nothing inside (no assist, no paperwork). Clearly, the tailgate assist is too heavy for a simple cardboard envelope and ripped it open in handling by FedEx. Called Ford, they refunded my money/points. Ordered the tailgate assist again. This time, FedEx didn't even try to deliver it before flagging it as "Damaged In Transit - Contact Shipper". Guessing the exact same thing happened again. Contacted Ford Accessories immediately. It's been a month now, no refund, no replacement part. On the phone, they apologize and say they're "waiting on Ford Operations". Same thing via email. A month to type in the twelve digit tracking number and see "Yep, it's damaged" is ridiculous. I disputed the charges with my credit card company today.
