If you're referring to the dash tweeters: you don't HAVE to replace them. Car audio purists would say you want to at least disconnect them, as you presumably will now have a coaxial speaker in the door which already has a tweeter and you don't want two drivers playing the same signals from...
Hey guys, went to change my cabin air filter for the first time. Watched this video first:
In it, he shows some sort of damper on the side that must be released first. But on my '24, I don't see a damper. I have that same knob that is designed for the damper to clip to, but no actual damper...
I apologize if this was answered, but does anyone know what the correct size is for the four spring steel speed clip fasteners on the front of the skid plate? One of mine is myseriously missing; must have dropped it when doing my last oil change.
Ugh. Had a terrible experience trying to get the update done. The dealer I purchased my truck from called me to ask if I'd like them to do the recall. I asked about their mobile service, which I had used before, and we set up an appointment. They called the day before, and I informed them the...
Sorry if this has been answered: would this SW version number be updated when the recall is completed? If so, anyone know if this is the latest? I had a mobile appt and left my truck at home in the driveway with the keys in it and let them know ahead of time that’s where it would be. My wife...
I’m sure this has been answered before, but not sure what to search for: I’ve always wondered why the trim to the dash side of the power window switch panel doesn’t align with the switch panel itself. It’s actually a bit sharp with the exposed edge. Was this a style choice? A mistake in the...
I copied the Ground Shaker design and built my own, and am using a Rockford Punch P3SD2-10. The "SD" stands for shallow depth; the regular Punch 10" (like most 10") won't fit.
I bought a right-angle USB-C adapter and hid the CarPlay adapter behind the trim panel. Wrapped it in some foam to keep it from rattling. Almost invisible.
They are on the pre-'25s. I can't say for sure if the '25s are different, but I haven't heard anything about an external amp for the non-B&O so I'd say the speaker wiring is almost certainly behind the head unit. It would have to be if the speakers are using an amp built into the head unit.
Can anyone that has one of the Ford pivot storage boxes comment on how easy it is to remove? If I need to pick up a few sheets of plywood or a half yard of loam, do I need tools to remove it or can it be removed by hand?
What is the breakdown of taxes vs "fees"? That's the real question.
Also, it is 100% BS that every Maverick comes with wheel locks and the first aid kit.
