Why buy a truck when you want it the height of a car? Buy a car!!!
Just my opinion.
Make it level!!!

Maybe rebadge it "Ranchero" though doing that to the tailgate would be expensive.

Ahh, but if you're gonna ask them that, you'll have to start asking us "Why buy a truck when you want the size of an SUV? Buy an SUV!!!".

I don't hate it. I know he was just giving a first go but I agree the back needs to come up a good bit. Maybe 2 inches to keep a little rake.

Good effort but and It sounds like it's just a "in the meantime" mess-around... front is on point but yeah (as they said) that rear was a whoops! lol

Can not wait for kits to start rolling out. Mine will be dropped and on 20's. Just suits this vehicle so much!

This not a truck, its a car.. Only one that is rated for even going off road is one with the FX4 package.

The lifts and bigger tires will do more stress to the vehicle then lowering this street car.

Its about time, i will be doing the same to mine but more like a 2"front 3" rear. The future is here!

I wish they were user here so i could see what the clearance on the rear tire to shock was!

This does make me wonder though why they didn't just use, or at least start with a kit for the escape.

Neither comment really works. A truck has an open bed - regardless of size - an SUV (or car) clearly does not. Perhaps ask why lower a small truck? If you wanted an El Camino or Ranchero you can buy a pretty nice one restored for $20,000!

Although... some cars can have an open bed... "shivers at image"

Also looking at the 20s, if you beat me would love some details and pics!

I dont mind the people lifting these things but I think the lowering crowd is the more logical group of the two. Its basically a car chassis with an all wheel drive system. I do not expect them to be good offroaders at all. Mini trucking them? Hell yea, bring them on.

Just for references the Nissan sentry will be 2007 to 2012 for the front struts. Quick look and the cost about 200 for the par. Once we find the correct rear springs should be able to lower for 400 in parts!

I completely agree! Why reduce the utility of a nice little truck by lowering it? I have never understood this whole idea. Must be something cultural that I am missing. :)
