I know this is an old thread, but I installed my s&b yesterday and you're so right the turbo tube was a lot of funGot around to installing my S&B cold air intake and my Turbosmart Blow off valve. That elbow going to the turbo was a lot of fun to try and get out.

Thanks, yeah I tossed the inlet tube in my yard and I was pissed and relieved when it finally came off and the new one on.I know this is an old thread, but I installed my s&b yesterday and you're so right the turbo tube was a lot of fun
I think it did quiet things down a little, but if I were to have the option to do it again, I may hold off doing the whole pan like this. It was quite a bit of work taking it all apart doing the actual sound deadening and then reassemble.
