I did order the FX4 package. I had already told them to remove molded mudflaps since that is also a constraint item. So we shall see. Last person I spoke with was their sales manager and he told me they’re getting them in it just taking time.
Personally, I feel, at the end of the day all of us who ordered a 2.0 will get one regardless of the allocations. I say this for two reasons. One, Ford ordered a crap load of 2.0 engines from their plant in Barcelona Spain. It serves them no purpose to simply stop making 2.0 Mavs especially since they admit now they cannot make all the hybrids. Two. I am optimistic. ;)

He 100% fed me BS lol. When I placed my order he said it would be in my possession by ending February or beginning March. Lie detector proved that was a lie.
My salesman said based on his experience with the Bronco it would take a year and the Sales Manager said six months before we would see it delivered, when I placed my order in October 2021. My MY22 order was never filled and the MY23 rollover order was placed September 2022. With my priority set at 10, I finally won the lottery and was scheduled for the week of June 9th. It has been an extremely long wait. I wanted the hybrid for flat towing behind my RV. Your chances of getting the EB are good provided your dealership has the allocations.
Allocations have been what I was up against this model year, when they switch from the First-In, First-Out queue selection at the end of last model year back to an allocation selection system. And then Ford cancelled a number of scheduled MY22 orders and placed them back into the order banks as MY23 orders at a better priority than the rest of us existing rollover orders. There was no way the dealerships could have foreseen this mess. So Good luck!

I didn’t do that much research prior! My fault, I know. I fell in love with the truck during a test drive and just pulled the trigger. I genuinely had no idea. I’m really not to happy with the idea that it may get rolled into a MY24. If that happens I may have to cancel and go with something else 😕
You got a test drive? That must have been nice, Mr Fancy Pants. Most of us here on the forum (myself included) ordered our Mavericks without ever seeing one in person.

Dealer allocations place the most crucial part in ordering. If the dealership is low on the priority list you as the consumer is screwed. I placed my order Dec 12th 2022 and Picked up my Mav March 5th. High volume dealerships always take precedence over other dealerships. Thats Ford and any other manufacturer.

The dealership took my order on that Monday and then placed it into the system on the following Thursday. Sorry should have been 2021.

Those delivery delays have been on the market for the past 3 years already but I still can't get accustomed to them. I often find myself thinking that it is better to get what is available and get it here and now without the need of waiting for years. Actually a lot of my friends do exactly this way especially taking into account that there are platforms like sca.auction offering great value for money.

Yup! First and last time I’m ever ordering a vehicle! 😂 holy heck why did I not know this was going to take so long?!?

anyways I’ve been reading around and can’t really find the answer im looking for. I see ford schedules get posted occasionally. Any way of knowing when and if my particular order is part of those schedule periods?
Dealer shoud have told you

In one of the replies, you said something about canceling your order if Ford rolls over the 2023 MY Mavericks into 2024 MY Mavericks. Ford will not be rolling over orders like during 2022 to 2023 MY transition.

You may want to keep your place in line at the dealership when placing a new order for a 2024 MY Maverick. Find out how many orders they have and how many allocations they are getting to determine how likely it is that you will get your Maverick within the 2023 or 2024 MY.

Research and determine the configuration with the highest probability of being built that makes you happy.

I ordered a 2022 XL Hybrid in September 2021 and received it in August 2022. I didn't like it, so I sold it and ordered a 2022 XLT EB AWD in September 2022. I received the 2023 XLT in January 2023.

As many others have stated, the trick is finding a high Maverick (and Bronco Sport) dealership that knows what they are doing and doesn't play any games to order your Maverick.

I maintain a list of recommended dealerships to which you can find links in several places on the forum. Or you can direct message me and I will share the link to the Google spreadsheet.

In 2021, it seemed to have some legitimacy. But I agree that now it seems just to be a ridiculously long wait and Ford switching from a queue back to allocations for the rollover orders, in my opinion was the wrong way to handle the situation and not a way to take care of customers that placed a single order and have been willing to wait. I've been told by my dealer that I am the very last rollover order that was scheduled. So hopefully, Ford will be able to fix the mess they created and finally take care of the remaining rollover orders that have not been scheduled. (y)

My premium markup for immediate delivery is getting smaller all the time.

I feel awful for you guys who’ve been waiting so long.
Hopefully you all have a dependable vehicle to drive in the meantime. I didn’t.
