Yup! First and last time I’m ever ordering a vehicle! 😂 holy heck why did I not know this was going to take so long?!?

anyways I’ve been reading around and can’t really find the answer im looking for. I see ford schedules get posted occasionally. Any way of knowing when and if my particular order is part of those schedule periods?

You should have emails from Ford with the tracking link. You can see what stage your build is in, and if it has a production date scheduled. You'll also get an email when it's scheduled.

Only email I’m getting is the generic one every 45 days with no other info or links…am I missing something?

You're still unscheduled. You wait and hope you get scheduled based upon 1)dealer allocation, 2)constraints, and 3)priority code. Scheduling occurs in large batches once per month (that's why you see those monthly scheduling threads here), and there's only a few more months left for scheduling for MY2023 until order banks for MY2024 opens. Anyone unscheduled by then will have to get in line again.

If your order has some stupid constraint item that can be added on by yourself easily aftermarket, I highly recommend you remove it. Like the mud guards or factory tonneau covers.

No. They won't send a scheduled email until they have a schedule for you. Usually a few weeks before the scheduled date. And then updates if the schedule is pushed back a week (or sometimes moved up).

Mine went from Early November to mid November to mid December back to early December and then was built as scheduled. Then you get emails for delivery when it's leaving the plant with an estimate for arrival at dealership. It'll be about a 2-week window. Mine was there the first day of the two week window.

I didn’t do that much research prior! My fault, I know. I fell in love with the truck during a test drive and just pulled the trigger. I genuinely had no idea. I’m really not to happy with the idea that it may get rolled into a MY24. If that happens I may have to cancel and go with something else 😕

I wasn't trying to be snarky. Perhaps your salesman glossed over the wait time. My salesman said it would likely be 5-6 months (it turned out to be 8 months), so I knew patience was required. I did get impatient only just before delivery when my Mav got jammed up on railroad cars in IL and IN.

Welcome to the hurry up and wait club. Dealer allocations is the elephant in the room when it comes to if and when you get your Maverick. At least you ordered a 2.0 so your chances are better. If you ordered with an add on trailer hitch I suggest you call your dealer and have it taken off your order. If it is part of a package like mine is with the FX/4 there is nothing that can be done. Ford will not remove it. That needs to be their idea not yours. Good luck, I am waiting as well.

He 100% fed me BS lol. When I placed my order he said it would be in my possession by ending February or beginning March. Lie detector proved that was a lie.

I did order the FX4 package. I had already told them to remove molded mudflaps since that is also a constraint item. So we shall see. Last person I spoke with was their sales manager and he told me they’re getting them in it just taking time.
