I wasn't trying to be snarky. Perhaps your salesman glossed over the wait time. My salesman said it would likely be 5-6 months (it turned out to be 8 months), so I knew patience was required. I did get impatient only just before delivery when my Mav got jammed up on railroad cars in IL and IN.
Mine asked me when I ordered when I expected to take delivery, I told him August and he was absolutely elated. He was glad I had tempered expectations and then we went down a rabbit hole where I told him a load of info he didn’t even know about the mav. Tried getting them to join on here but they seemed reluctant.

I can tell you that I have ordered dozens of Ford Trucks over the years. I am used to waiting 3 to 4 months, and that is no problem. This Maverick feasco is nothing but non-sence BS. As has been said in various other posts here. It is plain and simple poor management all the way around. They are going to wake up one of these days and notice that they aren't the only game in town. By then many of their true blue followers are going to be following another brand, and I am one of them. I can be a best friend or a worst enemy, depending on how i'm treaded. Its obvious which side of me is pushed to the front in this case. The crazy part of it is, it's all unnecessary.

I had a long winded response typed up but I think I'll just say this:

I love my Ford Maverick. It's the first vehicle I am actually in love with. I surfed the internet for a year and a half waiting for just the right one. I don't enjoy buying used vehicles, but I knew this was the right way to go and it's perfect. I've ordered from Toyota, and GM in the past 3 years and it's all the same. Everyone is suffering the same. So get over it or don't place an order.

That's all. And good luck in life to those that think they should have grapes fed to them while someone fans them with palm leaves and others tend to their cuticles. You won't get far and truth be told, nobody really likes you.
