06/17/2021: Priority 10 order confirmed: XLT Hybrid, Lux, CP 360, Sliding Rear Window, Tonneau, Floor Liners + dealer installed options
09/19/2021: Dropped all dealer installed options
10/21/2021: FMC email: Rest assured pickup will be delivered next year
01/04/2022: Re-added Tonneau + Floor Liners to order
03/18/2022: FMC email acknowledging order changes
04/11/2022: Dealer advised order Priority 2 with build week of 05/23/2022
05/13/2022: FMC email: scheduled production week of 05/30/2022 plus VIN
05/20/2022: FMC email: production week changed to 06/06/2022
06/03/2022: Dealer advised production build on 06/11/2022
06/11/2022: FVOT website status “Order Confirmed” -- not “In Production.” Dealer advised scheduled production week now 07/04/2022
07/08/2022: FVOT website status “In Production 07/08/2022”
07/14/2022: FMC email saying production began week of 07/04/2022 but supply chain delays & uncertainty; FMC will provide more info at least every 45 days.
08/19/2022: Called FMC: told vehicle is built but awaiting microchip; agreed the 08/16/2022 estimated delivery date did not happen.
Now I am not expecting truck delivery till well over 15 months from confirmed order date.

Yes, better late than never as long as Ford gets enough microchips soon to actually deliver the trucks already built and sitting in Mexico.

I’m think we are in the same boat, with the exception I ordered on 9/20 a xlt with the only constant being the 360. On the 3rd schedule for production my chips came up on 7/9/22, then nothing till 7/27, scheduled for production again then waiting for microchip. After 49 days got built, then waiting for shipment then this morning got emailed it had been shipped today with delivery between 10/14 an 10/20. Now my blood pressure is normal again and just hoping this experience has been worth it.

Other than the changes you made to the order along the way, we’re basically on the same exact timeline. The June ‘in & back out of production’ … same original build weeks… same 7/8 date on Ford tracker … and still also waiting for Built notification.

I better get back to rowing instead of talking to you or the Ford demon overlord will whip me (again.)

Nothing new for me, but the “In Production” total on the order track has dropped by about 40 in the last week, so maybe something soon….

Wolf Jet, though I have continued to followup with Ford and my dealer, I continue to left in the dark about why our truck continues as "In Production 07/08/2022.." I have been told that the truck has been built and is sitting in the Mexican desert awaiting a microchip. No one can tell me when the microchip will likely be available or when the truck might ship. We are hoping our truck will arrive before the first 2023 Mavericks are delivered to their owners.

Wolf Jet, Surprise to us. This morning I opened the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking website and found our truck finally moved from "In Production 07/08/2022" to "Built 09/29/2022." As we had not received any email from Ford about the truck build, I called Ford to confirm that the truck has finished its build. Ford rep confirmed it has been built and that the truck is expected to arrive at our dealer's by November 5 of this year. If that happens it will be 16 months and 2 weeks since our confirmed order. We are hoping the long sit in the Mexican hot sun and dirt will have no detrimental effect on the truck components. Hope your truck build has its chips by now!!!.

Syntax Error, we were told repeated via my calls to Ford reps that the holdup was a microchip, Could never get the Ford reps or my dealer what the microchip was for.

Or they're just giving you the standard runaround that they told the customer service reps to blame "chip shortage" as the reason to tell customers why your order got delayed.

Hopefully my story is about over. Ordered Hybrid XLT with Lux and 360 with sliding rear window on 6/19/21. Finally got notice in late July of build week 9/19/22. Week never changed and on 9/23/22 started on line. Built and returned from Body Shop on 9/28/22 and released after inspections. Notice tonight 9/30/22 loaded on railcar and shipped.
Estimated dealer arrival
10/13 to 10/19 in Central Indiana. The 19th would be 16 months to the day. I truly believe the Maverick Truck God's are Finally looking my way.
