Am i the only one that loves my rotary shifter? It took time to get used to, but it saves so much space. I love it now.

Same. I prefer the rotary but I do encourage people to do what makes them happy

I like the rotary too, but wish I could manually upshift this thing since everything I have owned since 1988 has been a standard shift. I actually seek them out because I love 3 pedal driving. If the maverick was available as a standard shift, even paying more for it to be stick shift would have been worth it to me.

Never disliked the rotary shifter, in fact it keeps the forward storage area easily accessible. IMO it all comes down to men used to grabbing a stiff shaft and now all they get is a circle with a button to push in the middle.

Probably affect the resale value of the MAV.

Probably make it easier to sell. I hate that stupid round shift dial

I took prefer to drive stick shift. Too bad they are not common anymore

Keep on going , like on my vehicles since 1986 “I AM THE WARRANTY “
at a depreciating Asset of 350$ a month for the first 5 or 6 years and what a resale difference of 1000$ maybe in 6 + years ,like 8000 instead of 9000 dollars ,do what makes you happy for the next 5-7 years with YOUR vehicle.

Haven’t looked into the shift control module in forescan or Fdrs to see if there is any other functions on the mavericks that can be turned on,off or activated.

I drove my wife's 2015 Honda CRV the other day and when I was backing into the driveway I went to twist the shifter, lol I just had to laugh!

Until about age 45 all my vehicles were standard transmission, so I was constantly reaching and stomping with the first automatic,

I love this so much that I have ordered a stand a lone shifter without the manual mode for my Hybrid. I will get my shifter before I get my truck. Truck was final built on the 8th.
