`22 FWD Hybrid currently w/ 96K miles, but put 42k miles on the OEM tires, after being replaced w/ 3/32 tread left.
Rotated at every oil change (which was at 10k intervals). Only replaced them due to being inspected around middle of winter in south central PA 2 years ago.
I'm curious to know what brake pads & rotors everyone is switching too (or swapped from OEM) for better quality or where at the end of their life.
I'm getting close to the end of the pads lives, but I'm curious to know what all everyone is switching too. I have normally changed both...
Just hardwired my Viofo A129 (only front facing) dash cam, loving it so far. Would definitely recommend whatever dash cam you pick, that you hardwire it to your Maverick.
I'm at just over 66k miles and the pads are still above 30% from what the garage told me when I got it inspected last week. W/ mild aggressive driving.
As someone who leaves there keys in the maverick while at work, the side keypad, is a huge help. I mainly leave them in the truck because I've set off the alarm many times while moving totes & boxes around. Just made sense and don't have to worry about it going off anymore.
Just an update to all who commented.
Ford did not count the wire as a part that was covered under the premium warrant I purchased the Maverick. So I got stuck with the whole bill, but Ford did take 600 off of the full bill.
So I actually had this same message pop up recently. Now I'm dealing w/ a corroded high-voltage cable w/ a bad terminal connection too. I'm not saying its the same problem w/ you, but just something to ask your local dealership about.
As the title entails, took my Maverick into the dealership to get diagnosed for a few notifications that popped up (see attached images).
After they found the problem (the GSM), they went to reset the module and told me that it killed the car and I wasn't even consulted on whether to go...
