I saw how the F-150 light switch was used to activate both fog and headlamps and agree that it's preferable to the DD harness although I haven't seen their switch harness set-up. I wonder if the two can be combined somehow enabling the F-150 light switch to work with DD's harness.
I believe so.

Ok quick question . I seen the video . I might not even use their wire harness at all maybe for the fog light conectors lol. How many of you like the back light of the fog lights ? Or want to use the back light ?

I personally would pass on the back light.

I purposely chose SS3s without the backlight.

Ok then might not need their harness and just plug them with my harness . Probably going to need their conector though .

OP, what happens if you bypass the forscan and connect the fog light directly (fused) to the battery making independent from the others?

As I mentioned previous page there isn't any discrete circuit switching in the F-150 lighting switch. The actual only button that closes a circuit when pushed is the fuel door release on the Hybrid one (and that's just analog to the PCM). So there's no way to wire the fog lights to it directly and bypass the BCM. When you push the fog light button the light switch just digitally sends a message to the BCM it was pushed. Then the BCM will actuate the fog light relay/MOSFET in accordance with its programming; by default nothing since it's flagged as disabled.

No backlight for me - just straight Ford functionality.

just a forewarning I ordered the switch from Tasca - order went through but then got an email claiming national backorder with no ETA so they've cancelled the order
Mine just shipped!

Cal,
You are a bargain hunter.... I paid more for the switch, but less for shipping. Almost a wash. But you got a better deal by about $3 total.

I could definitely survive without the back lighting, but if could be enabled with the running lights that would be cool. (I was going to go the SS3 route before and would have chosen no backlighting).

Anyway, I ordered the Elite Foglight Kit last week and the Ford F150 switch today. Now, when all of the stuff comes in, I'll just have to see what progress folks are making with getting Forscan working on MY2024.

Okay... first place sold out and cancelled the order almost immediately after making this post.... Ordered from another place, Tasca, but it will have a 7-10 delay or as great as 30 days if it's backordered.. No worries.. the Fog Lights won't arrive until March anyway.

<however, now I just read another member had his order through Tasca cancelled as well.. so I guess I'll get that email soon too>

Want to correct something... I actually ordered ML3Z-11654-BC because I have an EcoBoost which doesn't have the locking fuel door... I accidently referenced the photo that showed the 'DC' part. So, I don't know if the 'DC' parts are actually out of stock.. but I got a note that the 'BC' part was... Just don't want to cause a panic.
