Getting an order confirmation and getting a DORA lets you know that your order is submitted but not whether or not your dealer got a COVP approval. In 2022, if that wasn't done, your order wasn't considered for scheduling. In 2023, since dealers use their allocations to get retail orders scheduled you no longer need it to be considered for scheduling. It is needed for dealers to show Ford that the order is for a real person.I did get an email but would still like additional confirmation from Ford. Did I understand Tim @fordvideoguy to say one could get a DORA or some other kind of printout from Ford that would be detailed information of a recieved order? Is the Order Confirmation E-mail sufficient? I got one last time, waited 11 months and never did get scheduled, get a VIN, or anything else other than a few "Sorry" emails from Ford. What is the best way to get proof positive that your order is received properly and you are in the queue to have your Maverick built?
