What do you think about running a rear section of a .75” lift kit in the rear combined with the lowering springs on the fwd version, so I can have about .75” rake for towing?
I'm not really sure what you are asking here, what do you mean by rear section of a 0.75" lift kit?

There is a 2” lift kit for a maverick and it has a .75” lift spacer for the rear, I was thinking of combing in that with the lowering springs.

If its a FWD you could run a 0.75" spacer with the rear spring, the AWD you wouldn't be able to.

Manufacturers like Eibach definitely consider towing capacity. They're engineers. They're not going to sell a spring that reduces the vehicle's capability unless clearly stated. Yes, you'll lose ride height and distance to the bump stops, but capability.
Is there bump stops on the maverick? I haven't really looked under mine yet.

There may be 1-2 instances of cars with no bump stops, but all modern cars I'm aware of do have bumpstops.

They are underneath the shock boots so you wont be able to see them.

Confirmed, the Maverick has bump stops.
For the Eibach kit, the front stops are modified and the rear are replacements that come with the spring kit.

Exactly my concerns. The 2.5 drop front. 3.5 drop rear is perfect for me. I’m too old to deal with speed bumps, driveways etc. it’s goes right over no problem. My mudflaps (might remove) scrape going downhill into my parking garage (big slope) but other than that - can charge any bump, driveway etc. no worries or scrape at all. Low enough for me and no issue. Rides good !
I did mine yesterday, same truck, and it rides way different from stock. It handles fine but is stiff to harsh on the ride quality. Could the springs have been mis-boxed and meant for the heavier AWD version of the truck, I don't know but I am considering going back to stock, that's how uncomfortable the ride is.

Did you change wheels and tires at the same time?

Nope, I have the black package 18" wheels with the 60 series tires. To add to the info I had already given the ride is fine on smooth pavement or concrete in the Hampton Roads area where I live, but any divisions in the pavement or raised areas produce a firm thud. I have the tire press. at the 35 psi as well. I am also an older guy with a few lowered vehicles in my past and my '84 Nissan was a crappy ride after lowering. My 05 Blazer rode very well. Just looking for some help to see if I may have caused this condition or if I am expecting it to be the same ride as stock and it isn't going to be.

I didn't notice a huge change when I installed my springs. Yes, it was a little stiffer, but certainly not harsh by any means. I'm still running OEM wheels and tires too. Did you confirm you received the correct springs for your Maverick?
