EGR Valve Location for 2.5L Hybrid? Engine Code P0402

Does anyone have a picture or know the location of the EGR Valve or DPFE sensor. Check engine light appeared on an XLT 2.5L hybrid with less than 240 miles.

Frustrating that my local Ford hasn't called back.

If you look on the back side you can see the exhaust manifold with an insulated pipe coming up to the egr valve on the drivers end of the intake

Also check your coolant levels. If they are low that can also potentially throw a P0402 DTC code.

Any chance, would you be able take a pic of it? I'm experiencing the same issue as the OP and may attempt a diy repair, however, I'm not exactly sure of the egr location

I found this when doing a part search, don't know if it helps. The EGR Valve is part 13 according to a parts website.

I doubt you still check this lol from 2022. But I 2nd the request for the EGR sensor photo

You should have it check as other things can also cause that code to set
The gasket arrow is pointing to it
