Yes, the Lariat did come with the push/start button as my XLT does not.

My Parents just bought theirs at Ken Grody Buena Park today (Hybrid Lariat in Red Pepper). I bought my 2.0 XLT FX4 Carbonized Grey 2.5 weeks ago from Ken Grody Buena Park. I must say, seats are more comfy in Lariat and hate not having the push/Start button.
