An idea for the tremor folk... I decided to add orange accents to the inside of my grab holes of my divider. I used a semitransparent black deck stain for the rest.

I decided to use 2x8 and found that it's quite heavy and not easy to insert/remove. So, I agree that (2) 2x4's would be a lot easier to handle. I wish I had taken that path...

Anyways, instead of painting, I wrapped it using a roll of heavy duty black duct tape. I thought it would be a good match to the factory spray-in bedliner, help with the snug fit and also dampen any rattles. So far so good.
