Like some others mentioned, it reminds me of the Subaru wrx. I like the color combo and considered it for my tremor as well (same color). I ultimately decided against it because the gunmetal gray matches the BAP better than bronze, but I don't think it would look bad at all.
This just happened to me with a pecan!!!! Sounded like I was dragging a bunch of tin cans behind my truck and only thought to check between rotor and brake shield because of this thread. Big thank you to JRADD for flagging that this happened. Damn squirrels. There is no other way it could...
I'm also a bit suspicious of what goes into the oil change indicator. It very well could be a time and mileage tracker. I haven't put enough miles on my truck to have an opinion yet. It's definitely not analyzing the oil, but what else could it be tracking as a proxy for oil degradation...
A patch will do the trick. I used to work in a tire shop, and we were reluctant to use plugs since it can damage the belts of the tire and cause them to separate over time. I've never seen it happen from a plug, but always choose a patch if I have the option.
I reached out to Goodwin Racing about those springs and could not get a clear answer on how much it would lift a tremor. They state it lifted there non-tremor shop maverick 1.25". The rake on my tremor is only 1" and I don't want it to have a Carolina squat.
I've been making the same considerations as you for my 2024 tremor.
I assume this is the spring lift you reference:
Eibach Tremor Spring Lift
I will probably go with this once my stock wildpeaks wear out and put 245/70R17 tires with it. That should give a couple extra inches of clearnace...
Very unfortunate, but thank you for sharing. I was considering a hard roll-up but may think twice on that now. Was there any clues while you had it on your truck that fitment was off? i.e. sounds, resistance while rolling up, or anything else that seemed odd? The fitment looks fine from...
I wondered the same thing when I bought my Tremor last fall. Short answer is I couldn't find a rear drop leveling kit either, and think we are in the minority to want that. I'm probably going to lift the front to level now that I know my CVs are a little more robust than the standard ones for...
I don't think it would look right with the tremor bumper. It's going to stick out too far down low and leave a gap since it's designed for the nontremor bumper. Plus you lose the high approach angle! If you want it to look clean without losing your high approach angle, you may have to go...
Thanks for sharing! I have always wondered what that intercooler would look like on a tremor. The shop that did the install did a great job trimming for fitment. It looks great.
I would be very uneasy about the lack of protection up front in offroad conditions. Maybe consider a small custom...
Thank you for sharing this nugget! I don't obsess over my mpg like the hybrid crowd ;) but it's great to know I can calibrate since it's consistently off and a little annoying. I will be giving this a try very soon!
Something I've noticed is that the longer I let it run without resetting, the...
I didn't realize how controversial this topic would be! People that think it's all a placebo effect will not be convinced by anecdotal evidence from all us randoms.
It would be nice to see a stock ecoboost maverick with 2 dyno runs on 87 and 93 octane gas for comparison. Anyone know if that...
