Here’s the one I made, using plywood strips that someone gave me:

It’s a little more flexible than I would like, but it works really well.
That's strange, being 3/4" plywood it should be pretty solid ... Do you mean flexible because of the hinge, or flexible as in 'it's flimsy and goes out of square'? Did you use glue when assembling it?

Looks great. Short. Tall. As long as it keeps what you want where you want it's all good! What cover is that, like it?
Ford installed rolling tonneau cover. It's OK. Never had one on my previous truck so little to compare it to. Easy to use. Only leaks a tiny bit in the rain and I am not sure it is really secure against theft.

I did indeed use glue, and it’s great. When I say “flexible”, I mean there’s just a slight flex as I push on it. Nothing dramatic or of any real concern. Those that used thick straight solid boards would see a little less flex. Ultimately I’m happy with it. Fortunately nothing I put there is so heavy that the flex becomes a worry.

Ford Maverick DIY Bed Divider 20240807_185440

I made this for ours.
My only complaint about the Maverick is the bed should be about 1 inch longer. The divider is about 1 inch too long to lay flat in the bed front to back and still shut the tailgate when we need to take it out.
