Same as RDRahn states. Mine may sit for 3-4 without driving it, and my trips are short, hardly ever over 10 miles. Have to use the 'unlock' button on the remote to open the doors, especially the passenger side, more so than the driver side.
3-4 days or weeks?

I get it very frequently. I even got a notice before I drove it off the lot the first time. It’s generally every week. If I do maintain charge, it will be good for two weeks. I drive 95% city.
Bingo!

Rick…….
I agree with you that it is (apparently) a low quality battery.
And no matter how it is charged, this situation should not arise.
If Ford wants to have mpg bragging rights, then the battery should not be having these problems. It will result in shortened battery life. But why should Ford care, if the problem arises after 3/36 runs out?

I just hope for most that is the issue, a low quality battery. I’m happy to get the best battery available if that indeed solves the problem. I’m pretty sure that’s not what Ford will use as a warranty replacement.

Model year 2022 and 2023 Hybrid owners have you had any issues with deep sleep/ dead battery or even messages in Ford Pass indicating an issue? Vote yes or no according to your model year.

I would just like to get a feel from the MTC community on how big an issue this really is.
I've had the notice about a dozen times, but never a dead battery. One practice I have changed from early on is unplugging my dash cam when away for a long period, even though it shouldn't be an issue since it is on a fuse slot which should only be hot when the engine is running.

Ever since I have unplugged it when gone for 3+ days, I have not had the alert.

I have experienced the Deep Sleep Mode notification on my 2022 Hybrid XLT, started about 5 or 6 months after I took delivery. I have not had a dead battery.... yet. However, I have found that if you pause your Ford Pass App it prevents the draining of your battery. I have been keeping my app on pause now for several months and have not had a Deep Sleep issue since. I know many on here have removed their app from phone, but I find this works well and I have access to remote features when I need them.

We are about to head into winter here in Ky. and I hope this continues to work.

BTW, the app will periodically come out of paused mode, but I keep an eye on it and place it back into paused mode once I notice its no longer paused. Slight annoyance, but better than losing my remote features completely.

All these solutions: paused mode/ deleting Ford Pass.....putting the battery on a trickle charger, changing the battery...definite solutions that I would explore but pretty unacceptable for a new car. Why should I have to do extra do prevent this? I already went the extra mile to buy a Nocco battery booster (good to have in general but still ironic because its a NEW vehicle)

My truck has been in the shop for 1.5 weeks now for this issue. The cable overlay recall is already done and it didn't fix the instant deep sleep mode problem....so I don't know what these guys are doing honestly....At least they got me a rental (though it's a corolla...and it still has more bells and whistles than the XL version..hahaha)

My battery hit a low level to trigger the warning 19 hours after driving it 45 minutes each way to work and back for a week.

Because I have extra aftermarket monitors (ScanGauge) I noted the ONE TIME my battery got recharged was after five consecutive 10 hour drives.

Not normal. Not by design.

Maybe by design flaw.

MY 23 is driven every single day, even if it's not far. No issues of any kind with it at 3,300 miles.

I had this issue until the dealer installed alarm was disconnected.
Pull your inside fuse cover off (pass side floorboard)and look for a bunch of tapped into wires.
Disconnecting it fixed mine.

I had deep sleep problems with my 23 XL hybrid. It was the first one my dealer had, luckily they took it very seriously. (Unlike some of the horror stories I've seen here.)

The foreman even gave me his number and would call me a few times about specifics. Repair was explained as a higher capacity 12v, and a reflash of a few modules. 8,000 miles and many chances to fail me later, it's been perfect. *Knocks on wood*

That should not be necessary!
Not on a new vehicle, with a new battery, and a new dealer-installed alarm system!
The truck needs a stronger battery!
Just between us…….
I don’t think that that will solve the problem. Just delay it.
The charging algorithm needs amending.
