Took my Hybrid Maverick in to have the deep sleep mode problem fixed last week and they have replaced the TCU. I have not received the deep sleep mode message since but I'm getting "Drive your vehicle to reconnect FordPass and exit battery saver mode" even after I have driven my Maverick around for a while.

Is this a dealership fix problem or is this something I can do to fix this problem?

Is this a 2022 or 2023 Model year?

I have not experienced any of these warnings but it seems to plague some peoples trucks. I'm watching just in case it creeps up in the future.

It's a 2022. I don't have any operation problem with the Maverick....I just can't start the my truck with the app like I use too. It's not a deal breaker for me just an annoying one.

This is interesting, my 2023 Hybrid just had this exact same message pop up every single day the last few days. And I've driven 1200+ miles the past two weeks so definitely not from having it sit as I daily drive it. I'm curious to see if others are having this same issue. The one thing I have noticed tonight is when the Ford pass app says this my interior lights will not come on when I open the door like normal.

This is happening to me too.

Hi Harold! I can look into your Maverick's error message concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Maverick's VIN?

Try removing and re-adding the vehicle to your account?
I have deleted the app, reinstalled it and I still get the "Remote features disabled to preserve battery".

I will try to remove and add the vehicle tomorrow since I know where to remove the vehicle setting is.

Did removing the vehicle help you at all? Today when I was stopped at a light my truck started to feel like it was going to stall. Thinking it may be related to the battery saver/ battery issue
I will give it a try tomorrow and will let you know.

I mostly suggested the add/remove due to the new TCU and the possibility something was screwy there if it resulted in a MAC ID change. Also I see the wording of the 'deep sleep' message in the app has changed to the new one OP got.

This message keeps popping up each time I turn off my maverick now. Even after driving 30 miles one way so should have had plenty of time to charge the battery. My biggest reason for caring about it is the interior lights don't work when in battery saver so mornings and nights I can't see anything in the car when I open the door.
I also have a long commute so not sure if it’s an alternator issue or battery.

I was getting this same message. Turns out my trips were too short to keep the battery charged. Been taking longer ways into work by a mile or two each day (and highway speeds for half the trip which is an added bonus) and haven't seen this warning since.

Ok, I have deleted my vehicle from the app, added it back it and I still get the "Drive your vehicle to reconnect FordPass and exit battery saver mode"

I will be driving up North this weekend and let's see if this charges up the battery and get rid of the message. But being retired I don't really drive my Maverick much now. I really don't want to hook up a trickle charger.
