Dead Maverick [update: possibly hybrid harness connector issue]

Ok folks with a Maverick hybrid. Love the truck but had my first incident this past week. Turned it off and it just died. I mean nothing would work. So battery under back seat was fine, well come to find out there is a small battery under the hood. Oh it doesn't look like a battery. Well tow truck driver shows up (sent by Ford) and tells me about this battery. Well hooks it up to his jump pack, truck immediately comes to life but omg so much stuff going on in my dash. Different errors and when shut off completely dies again. Received my truck back in Jan and it has 7500 miles. Will post once fixed.

Many threads about this issue, strong possibility its the hybrid harness connector.

There is no additional battery ... the post under the hood is connected to the battery under the rear seat, passenger side (through the infamous faulty cable) and the other post is the vehicle common ground.

I've had this happen so many times the AAA guys know me by name. I'm so mad at this point that i feel the truck is unreliable and I'm getting rid of it. It's been in the dealership which is out of town and will have to get it there again. Last time they said it was a software glitch. I even had bought the battery jump pack and it didn't work. You have to get one much stronger. I'm bummed but this is ridiculous.

We have a problem that's not covered by FORD. If this happens, and you are in an area that's dark without street lights, You have no flashing , warning or any lights at all for on coming traffic! Get far away from your truck and call for help. This happened to one of my Mav Hybrid friends.
