Dangling wiring harness

I have a wiring harness hanging between the rear drivers tire and bumper. I have added pictures but was wondering if you could tell me what it is. Everything functions fine so I tucked it up so it was not hanging.

Do you have a 4 pin or 4+7 pin connector setup for trailer wiring hookups? If so, maybe the connector came off the backside of the plugs?

The pic is blurry, but it might be the FlexBed 12V power connector from that side. Pop the little access panel off and see if the wire harness is still attached.

That's what would plug in to the dangling wiring harness.

It would appear the plastic cap that holds the harness, and maybe another clip on the wire further down - both gave way.
Probably squirrels having fun!
