Yes, we are retired, and loving the freedom our van gives us. And when you have children on both East and West Coasts, you get lots of opportunity to see new country when going to see them!That's a nice camper van you guys have got there, Andy! I'd like to get something like that when I eventually retire.

I like where your head's at, Will! LolI have just one question and one suggestion. Have you taken it out on a superspeedway to test the rear aero downforce? It appears you may get some rear lift at high speeds. I suggest you sell some advertising back there, no one will miss it.
Are the police going to issue a warning for license plate obstructed view ?Jumping from the OEM P225/65R17s to the meatier P235/65R18 had me driving towards a full size spare instead of the dinky "pizza cutter" Maxxis temp spare. I don't tow anything, however, my XL did come with the Ford OEM tow hitch...decided to use it for a hitch mounted spare tire carrier. Curt's 31006 24-Inch High Trailer Hitch Spare Tire Mount for 2-inch Receiver fit right in. I sourced an 18" steelie from Tire Rack and got that full size mounted up proper. I'm digging the look and of course the security of a full size spare wheel/tire.
Bad camera angle on a couple of those pictures I took, but the rear plate is actually perfectly visible from normal following distance behind the vehicle.
