Grade Crossing guarded by flashing signals, have a small building (bungalow) to house the electronics to operated the lights. There also should be signage posted, showing an 1-800 number to call and a code number, for that crossings location. I don't know if and when it was called or the delay time before the train was notified, if at all. OR the Engineer just spotted the Semi on his own.

My truck just left the ESL yard, possibly where this train came from, so my heart skipped a beat when I saw the damaged black xlt. So sad.

Too bad you probably cannot file an insurance claim on the truck "you already purchased" to get the replacement value (what they're selling for used or with dealership mark-up) & buy a replacement.

The truck hasn’t been “purchased” while in transit to the dealer.

Just got word of a CSX train derailment in Glendale, KY. Friend told me he spotted Mavericks among the cargo. Some folks may want to check on their shipping schedule.

Right in front of the Whistle Stop restaurant too. Get you some good fried chicken in there to console any damaged Mavericks.

This is not likely the rail car number - it's likely the RAMP ONE code which you can find on your window sticker. To get the rail car number you will have to talk to your dealer or FORD marketing.

We have emergency stop buttons at gas stations. Maybe there should be emergency stop buttons on the signaling electronics cabinet (with a camera ala ATMs). Of course, that wouldn't have helped me in April 1986...
