Just checked, so far I have been a very lucky duck.

No under hood fire recall, no noCrank_noStart issue.

Y'know, I complained about waiting over 500 days for my truck, but now I'm glad I did. First generation vehicles are a mess. 😆

A. Push it off a cliff.

Q. What is found on the last two pages of every Chevy's owners manual?

A. The bus schedule.

Q. What did the auto parts counterman say when the customer said, "I'll take a set of wiper blades for my

Chevy"?

A. Sounds like a fair trade.

Q. What do you call a Chevy at the top of a hill?

A. A miracle?

Q. What do you call two Chevy's at the top of a hill?

A. A mirage.

Q. How do you double the value of a Chevy?

A. Fill up the gas tank.

Q. What do you call a Chevy with brakes?

A. Customized.

Q. How do you make a Chevy go faster down hill?

A. Turn the engine off.

Q. Why don't Chevy's sustain much damage in front end collisions?

A. The tow truck takes most of the impact.

Q. What do you call Chevy passengers?

A. Shock absorbers.

Q. How do you improve the appearance of a Chevy?

A. Park it between two Fords

Recalls aren't fun, but it's better than the alternative. Keep in mind the sante cruz's are having failing transmissions left and right, engine issues, overheating, check engine lights, loss of engine power, body parts falling off the truck, rust, electrical issues, braking issues, and fit and finish issues.

The maverick hybrid has a reliability rating of about 67/100 which is considered well above average. The ecoboost is basically the same. The sante Cruz was sitting at a 39/100 last time I checked. While Ford is issuing recalls to ensure this won't be an issue moving forward, Hyundai is sitting on their hands and plugging their ears.

Toyota, Ram, and GM are also having plenty of issues with their vehicles. Literally pages of Toyota owners on forums having to completely replace their engines with 5, 10,15k on them. Tundras, Tacomas, whatever that ugly Tundra based suv is called, the Camry, Corolla, Yaris, gr86 and their ev crossover are all just a few examples of new Toyotas having severe reliablity issues right now. Not only are Toyota engines blowing up at very low mileage, owners are having to fight tooth and nail for Toyota to honor them under warranty.

Just highlighting that to say, every vehicle, every product ever made in the history of man has those one star review saying how someone has a bad experience. It's unfortunate when it happens, but it doesn't mean the product in its entirety is bad. All the least reliable cars in my family have been Hondas, one didn't even last 3 days before the engine went out. That doesn't mean Hondas are unreliable, it means my family has been unlucky.

I'm sorry to the 1 or 2% of maverick owners on this forum who've had severe issues. But that doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming majority of maverick owners love their trucks, and have never had an issue.

Government Motors? Giant mess. Chevy isn’t the full name of the company. Ford is Ford but also Lincoln

Happy to see this... My truck would occasionally be dead only to be revived by my portable battery jumper. Now I just hope my dealership doesn't give me shiet telling me I'm just giving them bs... I wouldbt be there dropping off my car if there want any issues. Just wanna drive my truck in peace.
I have a 22 Hybrid. Once last summer it's 12v battery was dead after leaving it parked maybe two days. I think that I had left one side door only partially closed, which would leave the dome lights on. In some instances Fords turn the lights off after a few minutes, yet not in such a case as this.
Another thing I noticed: If you turn the rear interior dome light on by pushing up on it's lens, it will not turn itself off under any conditions.
I always carry jumper cables, and in this case, fortunately I had a lawn tractor battery in my boat, nearby.
Since these issues, I now always stand by the vehicle after shutoff and doors closed, watching until all lights turn themselves off.
This specific recall does apply to my build date, yet I'm stacking up all my recalls, waiting until I get a baker's dozen before taking it in.
Amazingly my local Ford dealer did call me today 6-9-2023 asking me to bring it in asap for this specific recall.

Not always. But that's a common belief.

I had one of the first 10,000 hybrids Ford Ever Made. An early built 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid. That thing was just this side of bulletproof. No pandemic of course.

Better late than never.

Fortunately production was fixed last year, so only 21k early units are affected. If you have one of those units, just go get it done. Then we can finally consign this issue to history.
I might, but mine's been back at the dealer for a month trying to get the airbag recall resolved.

Yes I too have the 22B39 notice for my Maverick along with the 22S27 Recall.

I have already completed the 22C20 Side AirBag and the 22S47 Underbody Fire Possible Recalls done on April 25, 2023.

I have not experienced the "No Start" issue but have had a few "Deep Sleep" episodes over the 1 1/2 years of ownership on my Hybrid Maverick.
Just like you, just had the airbag recall done, and never had the deep sleep issue, but glad that Ford has found the issue and has a fix

Question for those who know.

If I had the harness replaced, does this CSP apply to my Maverick?
