I have very little problem with Connected Touch Radio in my 2024 XLT. Initially I did, but upgraded phones in late 2024 and now it works very well. I'd estimate that I've had to do 3-4 forced reboots in that time. My phone is always connected while I'm driving. I do have to re-insert the USB plug sometimes if I leave it connected when I turn the truck off and then restart, but I think that's a cable or port problem.

I've also not had the rear camera recall done, and the image has never frozen.

My 24 2.0 had the recall on the camera but the screen keeps going blank. I have to pull over and completely shut the truck down then start again. Happens weekly. Im about to hire a Lemon Law attorney. I love the truck but this is so annoying. My dealer says there is nothing they can do. Suggestions?

If it cannot be fixed then dealer should buy it back.

Change out the head unit entirely with aftermarket, if you don't want to pay the premium price for the Ford Sync upgrades. This unit has worked quite well for me and provides wireless Android Auto / Carplay also.

This is a reasonably priced alternative to Ford's and other 3rd party versions I've seen for up to $3,000. I'm thinking many here would be happy to have this replace their working-just-fine 8" screens. Thanks for the post.

That is the cheapest I have seen with the bigger screen upgrades. Can you get something similar for 2024 XLT. The 2024 I have is compatible to Android Auto and Apple car play. I want the bigger screen and a better performing Audio system.

22-24 XL-XLT came with Ford's Connected Touch Radio.
Lariats were equipped with sync 3
I'm not sure about 2025's

Sync 4 on my 25 XL.
Works great.

I think there is a small device that plugs into the USB port that connects your phone to the radio but can't find it. Also, someone posted a reply regarding a subscription service but I can't find it.

Are you talking about a bluetooth device, for wireless connection? Yes, those do exist, but I prefer the wired connection. It works fine for me, and sounds better. The wireless adapters sound compressed to me.
