With phone plugged into car and Android Auto running, you should have a Waze icon to select on the vehicle display, which will replace the Google maps that is showing. When you select this from Android Auto, it should become your default. Are you saying the icon does not show up on Android Auto?

Did you ever get the epicenter all worked out? I had one years ago with 2 - 10's in sealed boxes that sounded great and was debating one for the Maverick.

2015 Nissan Frontier, which was a fantastic truck and still was when I traded in for the Maverick. Both have served my purposes well, but averaging nearly 10 mpg better with the Maverick!

That link you posted is a 12" and the Ground Shaker's only offer an 8" or 10" for the Maverick.

I opted for dual ground shaker 10" with the kicker L7T shallow mounts. Much better deal buying (2) Ground Shaker boxes than just one, but hybrids are stuck with one. I'll be anxious to see some reviews of this new option and how it performs.

Do you use USB stick to play these files? I tried this recently and couldn't stand the "safety feature" where the Maverick doesn't let you navigate the USB folders / songs while driving! I've found an option of uploading these MP3 files to your own youtube music account, then you can play them...

If all you did was replace the door speakers with factory wiring, than both sets of speakers should be working fine. Your Mavericks speaker wires only see the resistance of the combined coaxial speaker, it has no idea there is a tweeter mounted in there.

Does that speaker grille allow seat to close all the way? I have the ground shaker boxes with the L7T 10" and was debating whether to get the grilles.

I live in Florida and I can't stand the fact that we have anything in common with California! This is garbage policy, IMO.
