2025 Maverick Sync 4 entertainment center

I am waiting for my 2025 XLT Hybrid which has been under construction for 10 days.

I have the owner manual but in it I found nothing about the Sync 4 entertainment center the navigation system etc. nor do I find anything about it on line.

A few days ago, I posted a question about an integrated garage door opener.

Now I wonder if I could get one to work with the sync4 Bluetooth.

Has anyone tried this before me?

It is integrated into the material about all those other features. If something is displayed or controlled by the Infotainment screen, it shows up in each of those sections of the manual. Radio, HVAC, backup camera, etc...

If you want to watch videos on it, it is the same screen and system as the Escape. So any Escape video with the 13 inch screen will be exactly what you will experience on the Maverick.

I didn't watch all (actually, any) of those videos but I have sync4a in my Bronco.

The 2025 Maverick does not have an integrated garage door opener such as a homelink visor or rear view mirror. Neither is present on any trim of Maverick.

There could be openers that have smartphone apps that work with Android Auto, Car Play or Alexa. (Sync4a does have Alexa integration. Mine is not turned on.) Chamberlain myQ is one example.

Frenchy, you didn't mention using AA or Carplay thru Sync 4, so if not what you're looking for, disregard the rest of this:

I have Genie garage door openers. Their phone app works with Google Home, which is intergrated with Google Assistant.

With my Sync 3 I press the steering wheel voice button and say "Open Garage door 1" it then asks for my pin. I say it and the door opens. Same for closing.

I did have shortcuts for the garage doors on my Android Auto screen, but found the voice commands easier to use so deleted them.

I'm sure Sync 4 could be set up the same using Android Auto, as long as the garage door app works with Google Home. Iphone's might be similiar?
