Yup! XLT no c360, I switched out the original mirror plug with a smaller latched plug to save some space.

If anyone in SoCal/OC is interested in one, I got parts for an extra one or two. 👍
Hey, I happen to be in SoCal. I'll take some of the parts if you're offering. :)

I have the moonroof on my Maverick, though. Will this harness still fit in the top tray area? There is no sunglasses holder in the vehicles equipped with the Moonroof because of the switch and extra space the moonroof occupies.

@chilicoke - that looks awesome! I have all the parts, just wondering which pins you grabbed... Looks like you wired both power pins on the mirror to the same pin?

Let me know when you have some ready units for sale, I will need this when I plan on installing the Homelink mirror and the VIOFO A119V3 Dashcam I got.
Do you happen to know how many amps A119V3 draws? I got one coming and am planning to opening it up and stealth molding it into the mirror cover. Plus I got TONS of DC step down boards. 😅

That's what I've done. And my testers said everything works fine.

No idea of the device itself but it says for charging their tech specs says it's a 5V 1A plug so I guess it's gotta be around that amount?

I'm sure this will work just fine, as its just taking power from the forward collusion warning camera. The beauty of this harness is you don't even need to access the sunglass/map light panel, that black cover above the mirror is all you need to pull off.

Yeah the 12V to forward camera is key switched, no constant 12v here so just tie the two wires together. I like it better to not have Homelink activated when it's parked anyways.

Ah cool, so any small DC step down converter should do, or can just take apart a cheap car charger.

It looks like your 2 power leads from the homelink and sure dim go to the same power feed wire. Any reason why?

HomeLink usually gets constant 12v, auto dim and compass usually get key-switched 12v. Because there is no constant, always hot 12V to tap from on this forward camera module harness, so just tie both to same 12v source.

There is no real point to have Homelink on a contant 12V. Just turn the ignition on before attempting to open/close a garage door. Much simpler than trying to find an unnecessary constant 12V. It isn;t like it will need reprogramming because of no constant power.

Yep, I can testify. @mikeakasully made one of these T harnesses to test, and it works perfectly. Really plug-and-play and no splicing into the car’s wiring.

Just unplug the map light connector from the source connector, plug his T-harness in between those two connectors, then plug the attached connector into the mirror.

Could not be easier, and everything worked as expected.

Thanks to everyone who put tips on here. I have the cheap Kia part wired up to the radar detector wiring I had already run, so it went together clean and easy.

Very pleased with the result.

Got my mirror 10 days ago and installed yesterday. I did make an installation video that someone may find helpful. I did not go the route of using a special harness that has been recently discussed but spliced into the wires feeding the dome/map lights. I also decided to wire across both the constant power and switched power separately. After completing the installation, I found that the mirror remains powered for just a couple minutes after shutting off the vehicle. Opening the door will turn on the interior lights and the mirror as well.

Was nice to see the mirror install and work so easily.

Yup, that's how mine is wired up.

Best cheap mod ever!! I have a couple more of these mirrors. One is going in my mustang, and one in my Chevy pickup. When I found this deal, I bought 3 of em in one shot. Tasca Parts shipped everything in one box. Saved on shipping LOL
