Watts is Volts * Amps. 120V * 10A = 1200W. The Inverter in the Maverick can only do a little over 3A..
The charger won't pull 10A all the time but I suspect when you put the charger on a dead battery it pulls a lot of amps.
I'd be surprised if it works.
I'm sure. My Maverick replaced a 2010 Fusion Hybrid and I loved that car. But I really wanted AWD and the dealer told me I'd never get a Hybrid in '23 (which I believe was correct).
I'm still super happy with the EB. Enjoy your hybrid!
My first 5 tanks in my 23 AWD EB (~3000km)
25.68MPG - 9.159L/100KM
25.92MPG - 9.075L/100KM
26.88MPG - 8.750L/100KM
28.84MPG - 8.155L/100KM
27.47MPG - 8.562L/100KM
Since then, the best tank I've seen was 32.57 MPG (7.22L/100KM) but that was ALL highway driving with a relatively light load in...
We had two tanks >=32 mpg (32.0 and 32.6) on a recent trip of all highway driving. It probably would have been higher if we'd taken a few MPH off.. :-)
This was 'hand calculated' - the trip computer showed a slightly higher number.
Still super, super pleased with this mileage.
I saw a YouTube ad for the Maverick by itself a day or so ago - it showed a couple with a Cactus Grey truck in an urban setting - but have not seen it since.
Ah! Just enabling TSR alone does not enable IACC - I have TSR enabled on my Lariat and it does not do IACC.
There are some posts in that same thread:
(ex...
No, there is nothing you can do in software to enable it if you don't have the ACC hardware.
The ACC requires the Radar sensor on the front of the grill - and the electric brake booster, which is not on all trims.
There is a very long thread elsewhere that describes some folks purchasing the...
You can add it yourself, there is a long thread on the forum about using a lock unit from a Ranger:

We just finished a 3100 mile trip from NE -> IN -> GA -> NE in our '23 EB AWD. We kept the speedometer around 75+- and averaged 30 MPG, a few tanks were as high as 31MPG.
Super pleased with the ride and the Copilot 360 - really makes riding along in traffic easy.
I didn't read it that way, and I don't see any shying away from the gasoline engine (specifically the camshaft) being the issue here.
Instead it's just a statement of fact that seems quite plausible to me - because loss of the ICE doesn't immediately result in complete loss of power, the...
The google map pin for that restaurant is on the equator and looks to be on the prime meridian, i.e. it's GPS coordinates would be at or close to 0,0. (Looks like maybe it is @-0.7776385,-2.025536, i.e. pretty close to 0, 0, or at least the closest thing to 0,0 in Google maps).
Not sure how...
FordPass Rewards points are like CreditCard miles or any other similar point reward system - you get 42,000 of them when you purchase any new Ford Vehicle. You can spend them at any Ford Dealer (including some online) for Ford Parts and service.
You do not have to set it up ahead of time...
Did you call the number there (1-833-385-0516)? I had a similar problem and the folks on the phone were able to resolve it after a few go rounds - they were very helpful and even called me back to make sure everything was set.
My problem was related to my Fordpass account being very old - I...
Yes. I ordered on 19-September-2022.
Although my dealer (or maybe it was the salesman) was mightily confused/ignorant about the Lariat changes from 2022->2023 and definitely told me the SIBL was included in the Lux package. I wasn't a MTC member then so I was none the wiser.
But they did...
FWIW, I didn't see the OP as handwringing. Seems like a legit question based on the owner's manual.... I also think @MakinDoForNow explained a possible reason it might have said that.
(I do agree there is a fair amount of handwringing on this board but this didn't seem like it to me... :) )
I think the main issue is that a lot of the OEM lug nuts now are 'two piece' - the shiny part is thin metal over the body of the nut. Eventually water gets between the two parts and corrodes and the outer part swells up and you can't get a wrench on them anymore.
We had to replace all the lugs...
