Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

[Syntax Error]

I ordered one of the A7062-ADUP1 mirrors too. About $20 including shipping to me from the Ventura CA place. Big fan of mirrors with built-in compasses. Never did a mirror swap in any vehicle before, but first time for anything I guess.

In reviewing all the posts on this subject, I found four different, but similar mirror models and did some serious searching for availability. After waiting 2+ days for response to my inquiry about aforementioned mirrors being in stock, here is what I have found.

I just received mine today. $22.96 shipped from KiaAutoParts.com (Ancira Kia in San Antonio, TX). The weird thing about it is that it isn't in an official Hyundai/Kia parts box, just tossed into a Priority Mail box, and the accoutrements bag is dated nearly six years ago 8/28/17. No big deal to me, as long as it works.

I just got my pig tails needed to build out my plug and play harnesses!

I'll also have 5 mirrors in a few days so I can build 5 complete kits mirror and all.
I have 8 pre-orders already in the works and enough supplies for 20 total right now.
I'll properly post links for purchase once I get things built, (in accordance to forum rules).

I'm still working out pricing, a purchasing platform, and shipping costs.

Also has anyone rigged a dashcam with the wiring for a Kia home link mirror that everyone is rolling with? Wondering if I can hit two birds with one stone by doing the electrical mods necessary to connect the homelink mirror with a dashcam with the same wiring harness.

That's what @skyhawk did, and I have one that he made. The patch cord goes in between the Ford camera and its plug, and has has take-off wires for the Kia mirror and a USB socket that I used for my 70mai dashcam. There have been a few threads. It works great.

My XLT does not have copilot 360, would you know if this patch cable will work with it? I hardwired mine, but would prefer something cleaner, and eventually want to put in a dash cam.

Yup! XLT no c360, I switched out the original mirror plug with a smaller latched plug to save some space.

If anyone in SoCal/OC is interested in one, I got parts for an extra one or two.
