As I stand, it makes more sense to turn on the software. You already have the hardware in it on the I do is turn it on forscan Megan turn a lot of other things on with forscan

Ford Saginaw spend all that extra money just for switches and windows and switches just to make it go down or up going to be the same thread he goes up or down double up or double down

I meant that it already exists and the hardware.. For XLT and lariat… it’s a software turn on for the switches

oh shoot I get. Auto down. But on the XLT, I don’t get auto up??
Not happening… it’s a gimmick period

I admire your determination but it's pretty obvious there's different hardware involved in the lariat that I would imagine ford uses on many different vehicles that has the feature you want but ford didn't use it in the XL/XLT trims for whatever reason.

I would imagine there are numerous members on this forum that might also like to make the change. If you want to take the lead in performing the task keep us updated along the way, I imagine several might like to follow your journey if it's not overly complicated/expensive. My guess is it will be more expensive than it's worth. Good Luck.
