It sounds like you’re having buyers remorse for purchasing your Maverick and you're trying to build a case that your xl is a lemon so that Ford will buy it back at full price, instead of you having to pay the depreciation to trade it in a on new car with better seats, better stereo and better acceleration?

If so, you should try to make claims to Ford that your Maverick is a safety hazard, like it is randomly shutting down on the freeway while driving, possibly endangering you or your family’s lives. That will light a fire under them to help you get it bought back without having to lose your pants in depreciation.

He was on the F-150 forum a couple days ago asking how comfortable the seats are in them and was complaining about His Maverick seats just like He did on Here!!

Immediately take it to the dealership. Have someone from the dealership ride with you while it's malfunctioning if possible. It's a lot easier for them to diagnose while it's acting up. To be honest, I've never heard of this issue before. But based on your complaint, the service engine soon or wrench light should have come on by now. At any rate take it in to the dealership ASAP.

Maybe he finally found comfy seats, a vehicle with Apple CarPlay, and 1 with an E-brake that didn't keep setting itself on while attempting to move the vehicle. I guess we will never know if he found true happiness in the automotive world or not.
