I figured that those louvers would be in the way. My guess is the radiator behind those lower louvers is the supplemental cooling for the transmission, part of the 4K towing package.
I'm hopeful you are correct that the Demco will be less damaging, but I want to see an installation in detail first. The website is still asking for a volunteer guinee pig. Looking to tow my '25 Lariat in early June.
There are three dimples in the fascia above the ACC plate for drilling. Depending on the mounting holes of the bracket, it should clear the radar plate.
DDK - One last question, does your Lariat have the 4K tow package? Mine does and it appears that there is a second radiator and another set of louvers behind the bumper for cooling the transmission, hopefully not in the way of the baseplate.
Roadmaster and Blue Ox baseplates have tabs for attachments like breakaway brake switches and lighting/braking cables. Previous Demco baseplates for the Maverick didn't have them so you had to find another way to mount them. I can't see clearly in the pics how DDK's accessories are mounted...
