Buschur Intercooler Installed

Installed my new Buschur Racing intercooler. ALOT of plastic shroud trimming because Ford made a STUPID decision to make the shroud all one piece that everything is connected to....radiator, grille, headlights. The oem intercooler actually sits behind this shroud and to remove it.... the entire front end has to come off! If it wasn't for the shroud design this wouldn't have been such a pain to do. Learned alot more about the Maverick...specifically how it comes apart, and the new IC looks nice in there! Overall im quite happy. Hella full of body aches but it's in and I'm happy

Well... it really only prevents or lessens heat soak. Imho not really a performance upgrade that you'll feel... but it looks great! I'll measure my IATs but I have no doubt that it is far superior and keeping charge Temps down and consistent vs. The oem intercooler

The motor that controls the active shutters are mounted to the upper radiator shutters with the lower only being driven in a slave fashion. No CEL

Newb here to intercoolers.

Any downside to losing the lower shutters? What would happen in winter conditions?

Seems like this would be most useful when towing in hot weather.
