We didn't take pics like this when we did all the development for our front mount intercooler kit. The stock one we destroyed cutting it apart. Today we have another Maverick in our shop to install the front mount kit on and this was a great picture to show how massive our upgrade is. The stock intercooler is an undersized lightweight piece of garbage.

These are $899.

Pardon my ignorance.... What is the picture showing us exactly? Assume this is your intercooler kit? How does it compare in size and weight to the OEM intercooler?

I was wondering about that.... I thought that little piece of metal on the left was just part of the mounting hardware for the Buschur intercooler. LOL.... Wow that is a HUGE difference.

I just saw it myself. Stock intercooler circled below. it looks like the upgrade is twice the size of the stock version.

Since you are digging around in the area there. Do you have any insight on how to get a radiator with the capacity of the 4k model into the space thats been cut down by the Tremor front bumper? I am planning on making my own 4K package for the Tremor. Word is that the main reason it was cut is cooling.

Do you think your intercooler will fit in a Tremor bumper or have you made one for a BS Badlands? I am thinking I will want to beef up the power on a Tremor eventually. Maybe others will want to aswell.

Y’all are joking right?
Nope.
It was an honest question. My ego isn't hurt by not knowing.
I'm not familiar enough with how they work, but the hose connections looked like a radiator.
I've only ever had one car with a turbo in the past and I never messed with it.

A couple google searches later, and I'm wiser now.

Feel free to disregard my question.

Ours is the huge aluminum intercooler, stock is the little black thing behind it.

This doesn't cool the engine, it cools the air coming into the engine.
