Heck this thread is way more toxic than required. It's not hard to be decent and explain the install... $5 for nice pshh sounds is well worth it even if it is a rubber cap and zip tie. At Harbor Freight you're gonna pay triple that for an assortment of caps and a bag of zipties.... 🙄

I bet a couple of condoms and some duct tape would work pretty well ;)
Well, apparently those did not work several years ago......

Other than make a noise, what is it's purpose? If noise is the desired effect, what are the undesirable side effects?

Also the noise funnily enough. Most pretty much all oem turbo platforms recirculate the released pressure (air) back into the intake so you don't hear "pssssshhhhhh" all the time. Most non car enthusiasts/people don't want to hear that. And they are the majority of buyers/owners.

And imagine the confusion, people bringing their mav's to the dealership because "it sounds like the tire is losing air every time i let off the gas" lmfao.

Is it weird that I can actually hear the BPV valve dumping boost into the intake in the stock form? I give it a little gas for some boost, let off the gas and can hear a slight whoosh in the intake

BPV Delete Homemade

The above link is a video from my YT page of my own custom mod I did to the BPV system. I pulled off the wastegate end of the hose, inserted a Dorman expansion plug into the rubber side of the intake hose piece, put a clamp around it and it sounds great. I will post pictures soon. It cost me about 2 dollars to do it.

Could you show photos of how the plugs look? Or is it just the one seen in the video you have on your YouTube channel?

I didn't know I needed this until I read this thread. I want to go wooosh, too. 😬
And a boost pressure gauge would be super cool 😎

Sorry for the delay in responding, family stuff. I will have to make a video and post it for everyone to see it. The way I did it was with my own parts and tools. It cost me about 3 dollars total for parts and I used the existing hose and clamps. I kept the rubber hose on the intake side and put an expansion plug on the open end of the hose and clamped it.
