For those smart people among us, I understand this is a dumb idea.
For the rest of us morons, Maverick 2.0 StuStuStuStu happens.
I was poking around and decided to unplug the BPV and see what happens. I won't run it like that all the time, but it's turbo noises so yay! I I figured I'd bring it over here from my Facebook post.
I suppose I should explain more, I've effectively forced the bypass valve to remain closed when I cut throttle. This causes a shockwave to bounce back and forth between the closed throttle and the compressor side of the turbo making neato noises. This is a bad idea, it's hard on the turbo (a little?), and will cost excessive spending on all the women you'll attract. You have been warned.
