On the stock turbo little to no gains will be made with a new catback except for noise. So following protocol with my Mazdaspeeds, I know that deleting the second cat can gain some power until you are ready to go downpipe/exhaust and bigger turbo. So those of you that have deleted the second cat, how did you do yours? Weld in, or clamp in? Any pics?

Thanks.

Seems to me that replies to this post may put the party at risk for problems associated with illegal emissions mods. (??)

What do you think the gain is for removing the 2nd cat? 1HP/1 FTLB?

I had thought of that after I posted. Lol. Oh well, just nice to know what other people have tried.
