Wow. Agree, strange it didn't manifest earlier. However, the EcoBoost also has "delicate" components on the front, namely the intercooler. Hope you are back on the road soon.Five weeks ago, my wife had a minor collision with an SUV that caused some cosmetic damage to my left front bumper. (It caught the right rear bumper of the SUV in a glancing blow.) No dents, no major scratches, and the no air bags deployed. It cost all of $80 to buff away some rubber residue and apply some touch up paint. Fast forward to last week, when I noticed a small puddle on the garage floor, and later that day the truck stalled and was towed to the Ford dealer. They informed me that the high voltage radiator (it cools the high voltage battery) and some grill shutters have suffered impact damage, which will cost $3,258 to repair. I'm really surprised it took a month for the damage to manifest itself. And, if I had known the hybrid was so fragile, I would have opted for the Eco-boost.
