With all due respect, this must be your first rodeo. if you only drive 5500 miles a year, it tells me you do a lot of around town short runs. those will allow moisture to build up in your engine. If the oil monitor is so smart, why doesn't it reset itself after an oil change.

I used my Ford Pass points at my local Stealer, 31K points came to around 150 dollars, I got 2 air filters, 2 cabin filters, 2 oil filters, unless I have warranty work, I won't be going back!

If you have engine trouble, a qualified Technician can tell if your oil has been changed regularly.

Great advice, with my experience with Stealer's, the first thing I did after retiring and moving to Tennessee was look for a qualified local mechanic if needed. Keep in mind the Stealer's are out to drain your pocketbook. And their oil change guy is not a high paid tech!
