I have the drop in bed liner. I ordered the Ford bed mat from Fairway Ford. It is a really nice high quality bed mat. A lot softer than the floor and will keep items in place ( groceries). It never stated that it would need trimmed for spray in, or drop in liner on their website. It even shows in there pictures cutouts for the bed hold down clamps.
Mine will need trimmed and the holes cut for the floor rings. Also can’t open the cubby due to this. Letting everyone know before you order.
Misleading.

Yeah I thought that when I saw the picture. That doesn’t explain why the cut outs are there for the hold down rings In the floor.
I will be trimming

I had to cut spaces for the D Rings as well. And the very ends needed just a little trimming - not much.

It seems the OP is saying the product was not as advertised. Most everyone seems to be hung up on him putting it on top of a bedliner. It does not really matter if he is putting it in a two-wheel cart, the product was not as advertised. Why did he and other buyers have to trim cut outs for the hold down clamps when the picture shows cut outs? OP is right on that. The rest of the fit problem is the OP's problem. Just my two cents!! 🙂

I do see the point about misleading, however not all trim levels have the floor d-rings and this is a one size fits all item. My xlt came with sibl with the bedmat too and cubby open fine/no trimming needed but I’m not using the floor d rings and will not be cutting them in (I think they are outlined where to cut underneath?).

Has anyone reached out to Ford and asked why the bed mat does not have the cut out for the floor d rings like the picture shows?

Thanks for the response I will look on the bottom for the cut outs. That will come in handy.
I love the mat just thought the picture or description on their website would say something about trimming.
Have a great Friday

There are two different mats. One has cutouts and the other doesn’t, according to my dealer when I went to order mine. He also asked if I cared about aesthetics because it doesn’t lay perfectly in the bed liner option.

None Of this mattered since the mat wasn’t available for months. I ordered a Westin Ranger mat and cut the sides to fit perfectly.

I also ordered the bed mat with cutouts for the tie downs & was under the impression it would take along time to get, but it showed up the day after I ordered it & it did not have the cutouts, I think there are 2 different part numbers & I was shipped whatever they could get. I used a hole saw to make the openings for the tie downs.

I checked the Ford accessories website and only see one part number. Is there a marked area on the back to cut out? Some other bed accessories have been produced like that (so they can make one part to fit multiple configurations).

There were not any markings on the back, I had to measure a number of times to make sure the hole was right, I used a 3-1/2" hole saw.

I went through 8 razor blades and over an hour to get mine right. Had it out of the bed and back in 6 times.
Looks good with a lot of effort.
