People once. Does my dog count? She's been a passenger several times!

My brother hauls his wife and grandkids along with the stuff he spoils them with. He also hauls stuff that probably would not fit in the Maverick with the tailgate closed. So his 4 door F-150 probably is more appropriate for him.Hmm I guess I am the exception that proves the rule. I adore my 2dr RAM 1500 with an 8' bed. This is my hauling truck. Try putting 3 yards of mulch (or anything else) in a short bed truck. For dump runs, dirt and mulch hauling, I will take a Standard cab 8' bed every time. In fact I did not see any use for a short bed 4 door truck.
That is until I got my mav. I have a cap on mine to haul my labradors around. With the 4 doors I can haul stuff or people when I have the dogs with us. It is also great to haul baked goods as you do not have to bend and strain to get things out. I can park this little guy anywhere. No more taking up 3 or more parking spaces. It is a great truck.
I still dont see a use for a big 4 door truck with a short bed. To me that is just someone compensating for something.
The back seat is for my dog, previously dogs. I have protected the doors and the seat, as well as provided mats on the floor. Also have netting to keep Benny, my dog, from getting into the front seast. But to answer your question: yes, once.I'm not trying to make any kind of point. I'm just curious to poll the community and see how many have had people (not stuff) in the back seat. The question isn't whether you want a four door, four seat truck. For instance, I put stuff back there all the time. The question is very specific. Have you driven with people back there.
Edit by OP. After 300+ votes, I really learned something. LOTS of people do use the back seats. This really educated me, which is why I made the poll. I guess the Ford product planners knew what they were doing when they made it a four door.
Yes I took a trip across country (5,636 miles) with 2 in backseat with no complaints.I'm not trying to make any kind of point. All the time, but rarely are they over twelve, or small women under 5'7" all the time. Mostly my teenage grandkids who think the truck (in the city) is really cool and love the Lariat sound system, especially in the back. I'd say, if you have a person 5'8' to 6+ foot. you are going to have to move that front seat all the way up, in which case the smaller person in the front should obviously be in the back. I cant believe I am actually responding to this post, which seems elementary and intuitive. I guess curiosity got the best of you with this one, lol.I'm not trying to make any kind of point. Yes, but not often. I’ve had my parents in the backseat, and my niece and nephew in carseats. Most of the time it’s used for dry storage or air.
My Grandson (he's 4) has us buckle up the middle seatbelt too!!! He says we have to buckle up God there!Yes, my son who is 5’10” and 200 lbs. and my daughter who is 21 have both ridden back there. They say the seats are comfortable and there is a surprisingly spacious amount of leg room considering the size of the vehicle. They do not like having the rear speakers right next to their ears. They also have to buckle the middle seatbelt because even though there is no middle passenger, the sensor seems to think there is and the dash warning and chime will go off incessantly if they don’t. The vast majority of the time, though, other than the occasional grocery run, the backseat stays empty.
