Yes, the younger grandkids often - school dropoff/pickup. :like: The older teenagers a few times on short errand trips. I for myself would not want to be a adult rear passenger on a lengthy distance in the maverick. I think it's better than many smaller trucks out there but naturally isn't suppose compare to the f150 4dr crew cab, etc.

No use for two door truck cabs.
My quest for a four-door pickup truck goes back to the 90s. I realized after having Nissan hardbody. A single cab was too small for my needs. Trying to take my stepdaughter and her friends any where, I always would have to borrow my wife's car. Now it's taking folks to the airport.

I don't really believe that there is a demand for a two-door pickup truck, EV or otherwise. I feel it comes down to how cheap it is or the appearance of cheap. Think Slate.
Kind of like the Yugo, nobody wanted a Yugo. They bought them because they were cheap.
Two door p/u are in demand for commercial / fleet use. For sure.

Sorry
My mistake, I wasn't clear.
I was referring to folks who don't usually order through fleet sales.

Oops I forgot. Maya's heated throne.

This seems like such an odd question that has to have some kind of agenda despite your claims otherwise.

But The answer for me YES, literally every day. We have two teenagers and they can't ride in the truck bed :D

And it's not uncommon to have the back seat full with three kids when they bring a friend along somewhere. Just last weekend I took my one daughter and three of her friends to dinner and the mall. They fit just fine.
No agenda that I'm aware of. Idle curiousity.

Yes, mostly when doing trail work and shuttling with mountain bikes. Otherwise, the back seat is either empty or used as a storage space for my duffel bag, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad when I'm going camping.

Yes I have.

I've got 3 kids (11, 7, and 3 years of age.) 3 year old is a little big for his age (in every direction) and just switched to a booster seat. He goes in the middle and his siblings on each side of him. How often? Maybe 30% of the time. For family trips and going to church etc we take my wife's Yukon.

I'd love an F-150 with a supercab (the clamshell doors are perfect IMHO) but I don't want to spend roughly $50k on a truck.

I've had a human passenger in the back exactly once in a year and a half of ownership. My buddy Joey occasionally rides in his crate buckled in the back seat, and has had no complaints so far.

I should have added to my question that dogs, cats, parrots, and baby seats qualify!

I’ve yet to use my backseat for humans/pets. Removed the headrests for better visibility. Have used it often for stuff though…helping folks move etc:)

My front passenger seat rarely used.
Mostly for other’s doc appts. Otherwise fully reclined for better visibility also.

Only have had my Maverick for about 8mos. I do expect the back seat to be used over the coming Christmas Holidays 🎄

Had my parents in the back seat during the test drive. Sometimes 3 or 4 of us from the office need to go to another worksite a few miles down the road for a few hours. The 6'5" guy sits in the front passenger seat. The third or fourth coworkers are around 5'5" in height so they get in the rear seats. It's only a few miles, but they've had no complaints and say it's been comfy back there and easy to get in and out of.

I'm hoping my Maverick will be an occasional road trip vehicle with my friends. My only concern is many of my friends are 6 feet and taller and how much room would they have for a 3 or 5 hour trip.

I have No use for two door truck cabs. It seems neither do almost 90% of the members on the form.

Hmm I guess I am the exception that proves the rule. I adore my 2dr RAM 1500 with an 8' bed. This is my hauling truck. Try putting 3 yards of mulch (or anything else) in a short bed truck. For dump runs, dirt and mulch hauling, I will take a Standard cab 8' bed every time. In fact I did not see any use for a short bed 4 door truck.

That is until I got my mav. I have a cap on mine to haul my labradors around. With the 4 doors I can haul stuff or people when I have the dogs with us. It is also great to haul baked goods as you do not have to bend and strain to get things out. I can park this little guy anywhere. No more taking up 3 or more parking spaces. It is a great truck.

I still dont see a use for a big 4 door truck with a short bed. To me that is just someone compensating for something.

You won't hear me making those kind of wisecracks. But I must be following a pattern. When I met my now wife it was during the gas price surge after hurricanes Katrina/Rita and I had purchased a 150cc scooter for my commute. We worked at the same place, hadn't been dating long and I was pulling up on my scooter while she was walking across the lot. Someone else was just shutting down a rather loud Harley. I hear her yell to me: "Well I guess I know you're not compensating!"

On a few occasions, but usually the back just holds groceries or packages.
