B&O speaker problems

Hi all has anyone experience issues with there b&o speakers? The only speakers that seem work are the center and two rears. The two fronts including tweeters, and subwoofer are inop. I checked the connectors near the amp and have tried to reset the audio system using the power and next button to no avail. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Yea I second that. Never fun to track down electrical gremlins, especially ones under the dash

Sounds like an issue with the amplifier unit since all 5 you mention are driven off of it.

Agreed. If check the fuse panel, I believe it's a 20A micro blade in slot 41.

If that's good you definitely need a service appointment. Even if it's blown it shouldn't be, so have it checked anyway.

The problem is they want me to leave the vehicle there. And i think thats foolish just for a audio problem. Instead they should diagnose it that say and give it back to me that day if they need to order something.

Sounds like an issue with the amplifier unit since all 5 you mention are driven off of it.

Wouldnt that cause all speakers be inop? Not just the fronts?

The center and rear speakers are amplified directly off of the ACM which is the actual radio module. A digital signal is sent to the amplifier module behind the rear seat and that one has the connections for the tweeters, door woofers, and rear subwoofer.

The problem is they want me to leave the vehicle there. And i think thats foolish just for a audio problem. Instead they should diagnose it that say and give it back to me that day if they need to order something.

There is a mechanic shortage (all workers really) in our area so this is the new norm. No same day warranty appointments.

Unfortunately that level of service went out the window years ago, nowadays the standard is leave it with us and we’ll look at it when we feel like it, oh and rarely a loaner, it’s on you to rent a vehicle how ever long it sits in the back lot

Update dealership said it some type of processor that needs to be replaced. They have ordered it and I will have to go back in to get it replaced.

Update still no part yet. Tried everthing as mentioned above, checking fuse, connectors etc. Sometimes the unit works and sometimes it doesnt so its just a waiting game for the amp to come in to see if that actually is the culprit.

Thanks for that information. I wondered where the signal for each speaker came from. My dealer says they may have to replace my radio module because it freezes up all the time. They are going th try to reflash the software first but if that does not cure the problem they say they may replace the head unit. My prefered dealer is 18 miles away but are much more cooperative with me. Local dealer wants me to leave my truck for 2 days before they even look at it. No can do. This is my only ride!
