Auto stop start button no longer functions.

My auto start stop button in my center console is no longer working. I've tried everything messing with it forscan looking at the wires. All my other buttons work except my hill descent but that's cause I switched the switch out. Any thoughts.

It could be a weak battery. My wife's corsair had that issue when the battery was weak.

You said you switched the hill descent switch out. Is there any chance you accidentally disconnected the Auto Start Stop button while doing so?

most would welcome the stupid auto start stop function to cease to exist.

Most likely your battery state of charge. It's getting too weak to allow the function to work. A typical problem here, welcomed by many who dislike the feature. Try charging your battery.

What mode are you driving in? I heard the new Maverick stays in the lady mode selected and “Sport” disables start/stop.

The auto stop start still works people. In which I really don't mind it's just the button that deactivates that is no longer functions. So I can't turn it off if say I'm in a drive thru line. The auto stop has never bothered me except when it comes to like multipul stop sign and such. I'll just have to look with forscan

That's what I thought. From your first post I read it as the auto start stop worked, but you couldn't press the button to shut it off. That's why I agree with commodore Bob that sounds like maybe what happened.
